Britt had undergone quite a bit of refurbishment under her previous ownership but I wanted to add a few things to get her ready to go cruising these included:
- New standing rigging from A+ Rigging in Medemblik
- New Sails from Crusader Sails in Poole
- Spectra Newport 700 watermaker fitted bu the Britt's builder Aluboot
- Fischer Panda 5000i Neo Generator fitted by myself
- Mast refit and repaint by the mast's builder Rondal
- New Muir Windlass fitted by Aluboot
- New 40kg Rocna Vulcan Anchor
- Parasailor supplied by Ocean Chandlery Ltd
- Superwind 350W wind generator (not been very effective thus far)
- 350W solar panel (very effective)
- Inspection hatches fitted to 2 of the 3 fuel tanks and tanks cleaned out
- Main water tank repainted inside
- Iridium Satellite phone installation
- New smart alternator charging sytem from Sterling Power Products
- Lewmar Hydraulic Powerpack overhauled
- Nov 18 - Engine compression test Cylinders 1-6 results 28, 30, 28, 28, 29, 30
- Nov 18 - Cylinder head valve guides replaced by International Yacht Services Portugal
